The reason Novaro exists.
Nova — before everything changed
Nova was found in Jeffersonville, Indiana — neglected, underweight, and out of time.
She was hours from being surrendered to a shelter with no room. If she'd gone, she wouldn't have made it out.
We took her before that could happen.
What surprised us was how open she was. After everything she'd been through, you'd expect a dog that had shut herself off. She hadn't. She was gentle, present — trusting in a way she had every reason not to be.
She just needed someone to stay.
That was the moment everything changed.
Nova didn't just get a second chance —
she became the reason Novaro exists.
02 / A New Beginning
Her name means new.
Nova. From the Latin word for new.
A new beginning. A fresh start. A chance that almost didn't happen.
That's what every rescue animal deserves. And it's what shaped the name, the mission, and everything we make.
We named this brand after her because the name meant something. Because if a cup of coffee could fund more second chances — for more animals like her — then every morning could matter a little more.
